A practical plan for every day on site

Baubiber now connects company-level capacity planning with the work that project managers assign and site teams actually record. The result is a simple daily plan with enough detail to spot gaps before they become delays.

What is new

  • Daily planning in hours. Plan 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours quickly, or enter a custom duration in half-hour steps.
  • Week and month views. Move through the calendar, filter by person or project, and use a date-grouped agenda on smaller screens.
  • Planned, assigned, and logged together. Compare the visible calendar plan with active labor assignments and work recorded to date.
  • Plans that stay grounded. A team member can only be planned on a project where they are already part of the crew or project lead.
  • Guided worker days. Project managers prepare the day in Operations, while site workers receive a focused Today view for their assigned work.

Plan capacity in hours, not percentages

The new Planning section is separate from member management. Each calendar entry represents a real daily duration, so a plan reads naturally: four hours on one project and four on another. Daily totals flag overbooking without preventing legitimate long days.

Week view keeps the whole team visible by day. Month view makes longer-range staffing easier, and both views preserve the selected date and filters in the URL so the exact plan can be shared or revisited.

Compare the plan with the real workload

An expandable project, milestone, and task breakdown shows planned hours in the current view, assigned labor hours, logged hours, remaining work, and work that is still unscheduled. General project work remains visible even when it is not tied to a specific task.

Assigned hours are not presented as if they belonged to a particular date. Instead, Baubiber shows the lifetime task estimate alongside calendar plans and actual records, making overruns, under-scheduling, and over-planning visible without blocking edits.

From the company plan to the worker's day

Operations gives project managers one place to prepare and monitor daily execution. Workers see the work relevant to them in Today, can follow the planned sequence, and can review their work history. Clear organization roles keep planning and operational controls with the right people while preserving a focused worker experience.
