1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Baubiber platform, a matchmaking platform that connects homeowners with qualified craftsmen. By registering and using the platform, you accept these Terms.

2. Service Description

Baubiber is a matchmaking platform that uses AI-powered matching to connect homeowners with suitable craftsmen. Baubiber does not itself act as a craftsman or construction company and does not guarantee the work of matched craftsmen.

The platform includes:

  • AI-powered project capture (voice input and LiDAR measurement)
  • Automatic matching with suitable craftsmen
  • Communication between homeowners and craftsmen
  • Quote comparison and project management

3. Registration and Account

Registration is required to use the platform. You are obligated to provide truthful information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activities under your account.

4. User Obligations

Homeowners agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete project descriptions
  • Make agreed payments on time
  • Not use the platform for illegal purposes

Craftsmen agree to:

  • Provide valid qualifications and insurance documentation
  • Submit realistic and binding quotes
  • Deliver agreed services professionally and on schedule

5. Role of Baubiber

Baubiber acts exclusively as an intermediary. Contracts for craftsman services are concluded directly between homeowners and craftsmen. Baubiber is neither a party to these agreements nor liable for the fulfillment or quality of craftsman services.

6. Pricing and Payment

Registration and use of basic platform features is free for homeowners. Usage-based fees may apply for craftsmen, as outlined in a separate pricing schedule. All prices include applicable VAT.

7. Limitation of Liability

Baubiber is not liable for damages arising from matchmaking or contracts concluded between users. Baubiber's liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform, including texts, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to Baubiber. Use beyond the intended purpose of the platform is prohibited without written permission.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. Baubiber reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Baubiber in Switzerland. For consumers, the mandatory provisions of their country of residence apply.

11. Changes to Terms

Baubiber reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to users in a timely manner. Continued use of the platform after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
